![]() ![]() In this article, I will focus on one of the characters, Atticus Finch, his attitudes as presented in “Go set a watchman”, how he views black people in both the film and the novel, and my opinion on his defense of Tom Robinson. ![]() Atticus, as portrayed in the film, is a principled man, who played a significant role in setting an example for his children a man who upheld peace, controlled every situation and taught his children the true meaning of courage and moral values. From a general view, Harper shows that becoming a good person and father is a hard task which can only be achieved by a few in the racial setting. She includes features of many characters who, appear in both works, but in different versions. It features characters who, appear in both the film and the book. ![]() Harper Lee, who is also the author of the novel “Go, set a watchman” tries to talk about the racial tension and discrimination that is experienced and brewed in the south. To Kill a Mockingbird is an award-winning American drama film written by Harper Lee and directed By Robert Mulligan in 1960. ![]()
